Sid walked into the cafe, and walked over to the counter to place her order.While her drink was being made, she took the time to look around and saw the place was a ghost town, not a soul in sight, except hers and the persons waiting on her.She smiled at the person who had made her drink, payed her and droped a three dollar dip into the cup mark "Tips <3".
She poked a straw into her drink and took a long sip as she droped herself into one of the comfy booths at the front of the cafe so she could see the awsome view on the other side of large picture window.She could see all the way down to the beach and out into the clear blue water.She could allso dolphins jumping along with the waves, a couple people layed out on bright coloured towles.She turned her attention back to her drink and used her little finger to scoop some whipped cream into her mouth.She sat there for a few seconds, her head held in her hands as she closed her eyes.The hot sun beaming down the island quickly warmed her face, and she smiled, and as she did so the sunshine made the little stud above her lip twinkle.She turned her face away from the window to see the girl behinde the counter had gone into some background, and she was left alone now slipping away at her drink.

Jordin's black hair shined lightly in the sun. His head hung towards the ground and his flicked deep brown eyes up at the door. Crap He should have known that someone would be at the café. Jordin looked at his watch. 9:30. Well, he would have to head to work soon anyways. If she wanted to talk all he would have to do was say a few things and leave.
The tall boy pulled oven the door and went to the counter. At least it was only the girl. He wouldn't be harassed by any preppy jurks here. Jordin mumbled what he wanted and the person handed over a cold ice mocha. The best drink ever. Jordin then turned around. The girl seemed in a day dream. He cast a puzzled look in her direction. Was she sick or something? Jordin walked slowly up to her.
He flicked chocolate brown eyes towards the ground before speaking in a quiet voice. "Are, um, you okay?

Sid jumped at the sound of the voice, almost knocking her drink over.She turned looked see a boy that looked to be about her age.She could hardly see his tan, that was turned away from her.He seemed to be very interested in sometime on the floor.Sid looked down there to, But she did'nt see anything worth wild, just a lone little dust bunny."Um..Yeah,I'm okay.Just lookin' down at the beach.Its a nice day out, ya know?" She said.
She played with the straw in her drink, twirlling it between her slemder fingers as she looked the boy up and down.She still could'nt see his face, for it was still looking down at that dust bunny, so she moved on.She noitced his soft-looking black hair.She could allso see he was tall, Much, Much taller then her 5 feet.Not short, she reminded her self, Fun sized.She ran a hand thru her long orange hair with cast a quite glance at counter to see if the girl was back.She was'nt. "Would you like to sit?" She asked.She really could'nt see why somebody that could'nt even look at her when he talk would want to sit with her, with about 15 other empty seats.But it was worth a shot, right?

Jordin looked up at the girl. She had vibrant orange hair and kind looking eyes. His brown orbs locked with hers for a second before he ripped them away. Having no friends didn't exactly leave you alone in the world being awesomely social. Jordin looked back at the girl. She was skinny looking but not nasty skinny. He then heard her speak.
Would you like to sit?
Jordin looked up at her. Alright, I told myself before. If I was going to come in here she was most likely going to talk. All girls talk after all. C'mon Jordin. It's only a person. She won't hurt you. The boy ran a pale hand through his purple highlighted hair. He then turned his chocolate colored eyes to the girl again.
I guess I could sit here. He said softly and sat down across from the girl. She seemed nice and not like those other people who always were unkind to him. Jordin looked out the window. Sure, he didn't like sun but it sure looked nice today.

Sid flashed her almost perfect smile as the boy answered her in a soft tone.Dipped her head down and let her lips close over the tip of her straw as she sucked down more of her drinkShe looked out the window and knew she would have to get down to the beach sometime today, it was such a perfect day for surfing.the waves where at there highest and she just could'nt wait to get out there on her board.After comeing up for air,Sid turned to look at the kid sitting across from her. She Held her hand for the other boy to shake."Nice you meet,I'm sid."She said as she smiled and waited for the boy to take her hand.She played with her straw a bit more with her free hand.Now that the boy was sitting across from her she could see his face more clearly now.He was a bit pale, like her, and cute.She liked the purple highlight in his black hair.

Jordin took a sip of his cold mocha. Ahhh, he relished the feeling of the cool drink down his parched throat. The boy then flicked brown eyes towards the girl. She had stuck her hand out for him to shake. Jordin just stared at it stupidly at her hand. Nice you meet, I'm Sid. Jordin then took her hand and shook it with his soft touch. He let go and looked towards her face.
I'm Jordin. He said quietly and then looked at his watch. Oh crap. 10:15. He had five minutes to get to work. Jordin took another sip of his drink before looking up at Sid. His brown eyes shined brightly.
I, uh, I'm late for work. I really have to go. He said sheepishly. Jordin looked at Sid, waiting an answer.

Sid sipped the last of her drink as she leaned over the table so she could see what time it was.When she noticed it was almost time for her to get down to her job, the pet shop."Oh Crap!"She said as she jumped up, almost knocking over her drink as she did so."I'm sorry, but I have to get to work to!" She smiled down at the boy."I'll see your 'round sometime.Later!" She called as she ran out of the cafe, throwing her empty cup into the trash bin.She waved at the boy thru the window as she ran down the road to the Pet Shop.

Jordin followed the girl out the door. He gently waved back as she waved goodbye from outside the window. Jordin's brown eyes flicked back to the table. He set a few dollars down as a tip. This place deserved it. The boy then threw away his empty cup and stepped out the door. He had better head to the pet store. I'm in so much trouble...unless I have an excuse. Jordin grinned a little before reaching into his small side bag. He pulled out a few dog treats.
Jordin slipped them back into his bag before clipping it shut. He broke into a sprint to the petstore. If he didn't hurry he really would be in trouble. Jordin's black hair was buffeted violently in the wind. He was nearing the petstore now. Time for work.
